I am lucky enough to live on the ocean. The beach is my backyard. Everyday I head out to the beach to take a long walk or jog and inevitably I come back with an armful of garbage. I don't see this as a passing problem but rather one that is in dire need of a solution.

I started BeachLabs.org in an effort to bring awareness to the local community to work together to establish long-term goals for the sake of protecting our beaches and the environment.
